Ysgol Llawrybetws is located in the beautiful North Wales village of Glan-yr-afon in Gwynedd, between Corwen and Bala.
The workshops/school are set in a former primary school building, Ysgol Llawrybetws, which opened in 1908 but closed almost exactly 100 years later.
The location is stunning, workshop spaces inspiring, top quality tools and tuition. Traditional skills and standards combined with modern innovation in tools and materials.

The ability to make something tangible at a workbench and relax is such an important.
From total beginners to experienced woodworkers wanting to add to their skills, Bill has a wide range of skills, knowledge and teaching techniques.

In a time where many household objects are fast and disposable, making items that last and are restorable in the future, is so important.
The ability to appreciate old items, accept the 'imperfect' is the first step, then the ability and knowledge to restore an item ethically is the next one. That learning journey then never stops.
